Since my last post Chancey has had 4 different collars (like the elizabethan collar for dogs to keep them from chewing the bandage.) Each one was sure to remain securly around his neck, therefore preventing frm ripping at the heavy bandaging. The high tech vets, with high tech fees put on one that "no cat can get off." Oh, yea, it was off the next morning. At the suggestion of a friend my daughter dabbed apple cider vinegar on the bandage. Chancey found it to be qu ite tasty. She called the high techys and they recommended an affair from Pet Smart. Before Kathy could put the bag away, Chanc brought up two legs and front paws and wiped it off in one motion.
So Kathy has given up. Chancey wins. No collar anything. We'll hope he can stay away from the bandage for 10 more days and then the bandage comes off anyway.
